Cam
Yesterday Murray told me about a friend of his called Chris Dean who changed his last name to Deal so that people didn't think he was a lady when they heard his name out loud. At the time we tried to think of other combinations of names that trick you with sex and didn't get very far. Then today I saw Steve and gave him a picture. I told him about Chris Dean and we had a chuckle about it, without even REALISING we had another one right there under our nose, the person the picture was of, Steve's own handsome nephew Cam Miller!

Amy Szostak
Amy Szostak passed away earlier this year. Her pictures are sad and shocking, and, delightful! Does that sound strange? She had a special gift for storytelling in pictures and in words. She was very frank about topics that are scary to talk about, eg rape, vikings, Michael Jackson, lesbians, Camilla Parker Bowles,, and at the same time very funny. She transcended her intellectual disability to became famous in New Zealand for her artwork, singing and acting. Amy was a viking in a past life, she was a "Special Star" in the one she has just had, and I reckon she will be another awesome something in the next one.
O
This O is the O for Of which is the Of for The Pageant Of Life which is the party my family is going to be hosting in december. Come as your favourite aspect of Life. So far I have friends who already know they are coming as an erupting volcano; a peanut; self-confidence; a sequin; and their Mum. Date is TBA. You're invited!

Come!
This is CJ. CJ is one of my favourite characters from television. He's the boss at Sunshine Desserts on The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin which is a programme that was made in England in the mid 70's. He is constantly getting his idioms muddled and never notices anything!
Crystal Diamond Writes
Caroline M. Anderson (not the medical romance writer, the other one, ie my sister, whom you may know better as the founder of Crystal Diamond Swimwear) has started writing about EVERTHING SHE THINKS ABOUT. She's good. I reckon I have a dog whistle sense of humour, where most people are always not quite hearing it, well Caroline's is a real whistle like the kind they use at a bball game or the one they use to make people get out of the pool every 15 minutes at a swimming pool in Japan so they can check the bottom to see if anyone has drowned. Everyone hears Caroline's whistle. She is writing a breakdown on sweet living and profiles of her favourite people currently. Check it out here.

Chronic Fat Syndrome
My dad Lindsay Anderson has owned a fat factory for 3 years. When he first bought the factory, he talked about beef and pig fat in detail for a long time, and sometimes us kids got really tired listening to it. I believe the technical name for what he gave us is Chronic Fat Syndrome. Luckily he's got other interests now. Last week I spent some of my own time thinking about beef fat while Dad went mountain climbing in Peru. This is the new pottle that I designed and illustrated the graphics for. Ingredients: BEEF FAT. Produced and packaged by Rendco, Wanganui.
